I’ve been thinking about sharing our wedding on the blog for awhile, and I figured our 9th anniversary would be the perfect time! I think this post is relevant for a home improvement blog for a couple of reasons. First, there are a lot of decor decisions that go into a wedding. I loved the process so much I was dying to be a wedding planner for a few years. Now I’m channeling that creative energy into our house instead. I’m still in love with the choices we made for our wedding 9 years later. I hope I can make choices like that in our home! Second, a few months back I shared a potential design for our master bedroom (which is a project that is basically on the backburner), and since then my mind has gone in a completely different direction for our bedroom. I saw this wall at a local restaurant Spoke and steel:
I’m obsessed with it. I think our master bedroom would be the perfect spot to put it in our house. The brick in the image got me thinking about our wedding venue and that white brick would look perfect with our wedding decor, so I’d love a wedding inspired master bedroom. Take a trip down memory lane with me and let me know what you think! I’ll keep the pictures mostly to decor since this blog isn’t about weddings 🙂

I hope you enjoyed our wedding photos! I loved planning a winter wedding. What do you think about a wedding inspired master bedroom?

Oh the memories! Love those pictures you chose. I think they would be great for the bedroom remodel.
It’s time for another family wedding! So much fun!!!
Your wedding is the most romantic time in you life…your bedroom is the perfect room to carry on that theme!
