Now that the mudroom is done, we are going to start tackling some other things on our to do list.  We almost have our basement straightened up and will begin working on our lower level. If the beautiful weather keeps up, we would also like to tackle a garage clean up and staining our deck. We will also have some more (and better) mudroom pics coming soon! In the mean time, I thought I would share some of my favorite things on the internet this week. I’d like to make this a regular feature. Several blogs I follow do this, and I love these posts because it takes me to things I wouldn’t have found otherwise. So here’s my collection of favorite things on the internet this week!

Remember when we started our mudroom we were participating in a one room challenge? That 6 week challenge turned into an almost 6 month challenge for us 🙂 Just as we were finishing, the next One Room Challenge was beginning over at Calling It Home. I’d love to participate in this again next year! Head over there and check out all of the participants and guest participants. They are currently in week 3!

Ok, this isn’t from this week, but this is a great post about the impact of negative space that I’ve been saving to share on the blog! I love simple decor. Sometimes decor can feel like clutter. Plus, I HATE dusting SO MUCH that when I see beautiful built ins filled with lots of decor, all I can think about is how much it would suck to dust it.

Young House Love was the first blog I ever followed. They took a long blogging break, but they are blogging again. I loved checking out their finished kitchen this week. You have to check out the before and after!
